Squamish Rock Trip

British Columbia, Canada

Overview:

Explore one of North America's finest granite climbing venues, Squamish. Between the towering Stawamus Chief and the nearby cragging, their are plenty of rock climbing opportunities here for all skill levels and disciplines.

On this trip to Squamish, you can expect splitter cracks, high friction slabs, and a beautiful town situated at the tip of the Howe Sound.

Although this trip is perfect for almost all rock climbers who are looking to visit a world class destination, it is best appreciated by those with trad climbing experience in other granite areas. The nearby climbing, however, is stacked with opportunities ranging from high end sport climbing to beginner multi-pitch, and even big wall ascents.

Situated on the Sea to Sky Hwy, Squamish is a small coastal town just halfway between Vancouver and Whistler. Many options exist for lodging, most within walking distance of crags (and breweries).
